yeah, reporters should not talk to people involved in a story, they should not take pictures in public, and they should not use public phone lists to find people they want to ask questions....
but, it's just fine for a reporter to show up the day your child or spouse has died in a horrible, public fashion, and with camera running on your front porch, ask "how do you feel?" - that's ok....
