I had a Suzuki 550 back in the early 80's. Rode the hell out of it. 6-speed, great acceleration, and reliable. I even worked at a Suzuki dealer for a few months and did the 500 mile valve jobs on them, assembled them from the crate, stuff like that. They are easy to work on, or at least were back then.
