Meh.
If I had a spare $120k laying around and it HAD to go to a car, I'd go with either something unique and classic as some others have said or something with personality... used GT3 is about the only new-ish car that comes to mind. Maybe I'd take a look at some of the various Aston offerings.
I can't think of a single new car out there at that price point that I would even begin to consider buying.
I guess I have reached a point where I honestly couldn't care less about the performance numbers of a street car. I don't give a crap about what it runs in a 1/4 mile or how fast it was around the ring. I care about how it looks, how it feels, the "art" of the car (and don't get me wrong, handling and power are a huge part of that "feel".
If I wanted to
actually go fast, I'd go a lot faster, a lot cheaper, and a lot safer by buying an actual race car, TA2 or something similar with that $120k, rather than driving around in a street car...
...and use all of the remaining money to actually race it for a few seasons.
