Toothless is a brand new $30,000 car, now 2 years old with only 9k on the clock. He needs no upgrades.
We made some more progress today, but did not take pictures. We went and bought new brake rotors, new struts, painted the springs and will have them pressed tomorrow. New brake pads, and clips. To date, I've spent over $3,500 on the car that she paid $2,200 for.
We're painting the brake calipers red and the springs black. The parts from Mazda should be here tomorrow, so if we don't do it tomorrow, then we'll be mating the body with the drive train on Thursday.
It's too easy to go buy new shit when it's so accessible, and this will be her reliable college car for another 4 years. She will be taking Baymax to South Carolina for Cummins.
