Correct; they do.
Do you know why or just follow?

Open air markets.

These flu viruses originate in fowl, but the fowl cannot transfer the virus to humans.
But; the fowl can transfer the virus to pigs/hogs, the pigs/hogs can and obviously do transfer the virus to humans.
These livestock are brought to open air markets in all of Asia without screening of any kind.
Asians know this; but only partially practice safety as far as a deterrent to prevent the spread these viruses.

Avian Flu
Swine Flu
N1H1
Bird Flu
These ↑ are all strains of the flu. = fowl and swine

*Other facts:
•The influenza pandemic of 1918-1919 killed more people than the Great War (WWI).
It killed some 50 million people, and infected up to a third of the world’s population.
Though it was called "The Spanish Flu" it was first observed in Asia.

•Hong Kong flu is first reported in 1968, though it is observed heavily in Hong Kong, it is thought to originate in mainland China.

•Asian Flu is reported in 1957 originating in China.

•1983 Swine influenza was a disease when pigs became ill. (influenza A (H1N1))

*(some overall numbers/statements are contested)

In conclusion class;
All are strains of influenza/flu bug, all has been happening for years...every...stinkin'...year.
For years Asians have been wearing masks, but, the flu bug is still spread.

Let me write that again for the dense:
For years Asians have been wearing masks, but, the flu bug is still spread.
