No I won't ben keeping the door glass. Due to my size I need all the room I can get for the cage and still be able to drive the car comfortably.
The trim isn't too bad to removed, but you will end up tearing the weather strip in the areas it's held on with adhesive so best to buy new ones if you have to remove. After that there is a metal run channel and the plastic trim part. For this I didn't really take my time and ripped it all off, but when I did my trarga I took lots of care to remove w/o breaking anything.
It can be hard to w/o bending or cracking anything. And then there's a very specific procedure for putting it all back together with various adhesives in various areas to ensure no leaks!
