Nice work as usual Doug! I'd guess you used a very light stain if any at all. Very hard to not mask the grains as it's a low contrast wood.
First thing the guy at the mill told me is "do NOT get a splinter from that Wenge" and after the first pass with the router I decided to wipe the dust with my bare hand and picked one up from the bottom of the board.
Stuff goes in like steel and is hard to get out in one piece. Dense wood but poor tensile strength.
