Contrary to the media narrative, his situation has little to do with his protesting and more to do with the fact that he isn't very good. The dude totally regressed after Harbaugh left San Francisco.
I suppose he could be successful if a team completely designed their personnel and offensive scheme around the guy, but is it worth retooling your entire team for a Quarterback that is more concerned with 'Social Justice' and being a vegetarian?
Perhaps if he took his profession a little more seriously he would have a job...
