Yep, but it is not collected, analyzed, cataloged and archived by a company who monetize that information. They can double, triple or a billion times their take by selling that information to anyone who asks. Blue Cross Blue Shield asks for the profile of their customers for "research use only"? SOLD.
The FBI asks to share for cross reference on cold rape cases? SOLD.
You get the idea... it would be far worse in some instances than a Facebook data breach or having your credit card hacked.
