Copy/pasting the full url works as long as it ends in watch?v=videoID with no other junk such as "feature", "playerembedded", etc included in the URL.
If you're on the Youtube.com site, chances are the link will be in this format and will embed without issue. If you're copying the link from another source such as Facebook, then it might not.


If you prefer the way CF did it, I just created the same yt tag they use. To use it, copy/paste ONLY the videoID found at the end of the url, and place it between the [yt]...[/yt] tags.

Examples:

This is the full URL with the videoID in bold:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXP7fooHAZA



Normal copy/paste of full URL (you may have to preview your post before it displays embedded):
