On Good Friday we took a road trip from the Adirondack region of NY down to Atlantic City with my 07 AO Z06. Went to Kerbeck and after a few hours purchased a 15 Torch Red Z51 Vert. It has black interior, black roof and black wheels. Due to a bad left knee after 30 some years of only owning stick shift Vettes I bought an auto (8 spd).
Very pleasantly surprised as this car has some serious balls, not as much as my now traded 07 Z06 naturally but still a decent mover. Got used to the paddles and its nice shifting but on occasion coming into a stop the left foot want to press the clutch pedal
It will take a couple weeks for my official NY reg plate to be legal put on this car and the cops have looked at me a few times but no roadside chats YET. I have 20 days on the paper plate they put on so hopefully my new state reg arrives in time.
Still a bit cold up here and as I type this still has about 14" of snow in the fields but the road is clear.
As of this point I really like the car and cannot wait till better weather to drop the top and have some fun with hopefully no tickets!
