I've made their Red Velvet cake many times and it's been loved by many local bakers. They tell me it's as good as any homemade that they've made. We did a taste testing with longtime bakers and the food department. My guess is that the Black Velvet tastes the same as the red. Looks to have purple frosting.
If it isn't purple, I'm going to make it purple!
I'm making it for a co-worker who loves the red velvet cake. He really wants a lemon dobage' , but I do not have that kind of time! I'll take photos.
