Well, I don't think it's illegal for you to lie to a private business, but faking a government document IS a crime. Of course, it's only a prosecutable crime if the government desires to make an example of you.
So, for instance, millions of illegal aliens with flea market Social Security cards and D.L.'s? No problem. Hunter lying about not being a drug abuser on a federal firearm transfer form? No problem.
You, printing a fake CDC card? THAT will be a problem and you'll probably end up a political prisoner like the 1/6 protestors.
