Growing up on Lake Michigan and my Grandfather and GGF were fishermen and merchant marines, this one always hit close to home.
It was dinner table conversation growing up in the 70s as it just happened.
Gord's song about it is haunting as well. Got to see him perform it live in Buffalo in the 90s.
