House is fine but the cleanup begins. Windows were closed but with the winds whipping up as bad as they were, ash finds its way thru any crevice no matter how tiny. Pretty much every surface has to be dusted, wiped down, washed, vacuumed, swept, etc.

My Step Dad was working for Intel when Mount Saint Helens blew. They had a terrible time trying to keep the clean rooms clean as the volcanic dust is extremely fine and very abrasive. ( car prices plummeted too as the volcanic dust destroyed the engines from being sucked thru the intake )
