It doesn’t hurt. I’ve had too many to count. It feels friggin weird. But the only pain is the Novocain needle. After that you could build a bookcase in there. Take some Advil or Tramadol before you go and smoke a big doob.
The doob won’t help with the pain, it just gives you an excuse.
