BTW, I always say rims, some say wheels, I think of wheels as both rim and tire.

As said, I like my rims to match to car, its features, nothing on any car anymore is chrome, and damn glad that is so.

To each their own, your preferences require no explanation to anyone, but I would not limit my car buying choices based on rim color.
My first of 6 Corvettes was a brand new 1992 C4 when I was 24. All 6 of my vettes have been black, and my 2009 3LZ Z06 garage queen came with chrome rims. I effing HATE chrome rims (I'm going to have the OEM gray ones powder coated to black and start using those).
