In my international travels over the past few years I get a lot of questions about how and why we elected Trump. My standard answer is that most people voted against Hillary instead of for Trump, and that we had perhaps the two worst candidates in the history of the nation. It's no better this time; we have Trump again or a senile old man who probably won't last four years. Two shitty candidates is a pretty ****ed up choice.
