Unlike Memorial Day, I believe there is something to celebrate on Independence day.
To me:
Memorial Day is a somber day. A day to honor our service persons that paid the ultimate price. And to those that served and have passed.
Independence Day is a day to celebrate what our founding fathers, and brave people who fought the British, risked their lives when they declared independence. What brave people they were! I wish we had more of them today.
