It’s the “community kitchen”. The lady in the pic is elderly. Maybe she’s not able to volunteer. Whether she’s homeless I don’t know, but she certainly appears grateful. Not gonna judge.

I actually saw a cop in front of me this morning in the left lane on I295 North (west beltway) pull over a left lane warrior for doing 60, which is below the speed limit, and clogging traffic. They pulled off and it picked up to 75 immediately. Dumbass was keeping up with truckers in the right lane so there was no way to pass. Using the horn or flashing your lights like in Europe meant nothing to that jackass. I hope his engine seizes up.

BTDT and concur. Try driving in the metro DC area, or better yet downtown during am or pm rush hour.
Oh and because of upcoming “national security events”, there will be road closures and associated rerouting. Glad I’m teleworking even though my office is on the other side of the river and use mass trans.
