Just remembered a next door neighbor I had growing up built a sixties, early seventies wildcat. Great car but given a choice, I’d take a Pontiac over any other GM. Buick over Chevy back then just for something different but I liked that the Pontiac engine didn’t use the intake manifold as a cover for the lifter valley and the 66-67 GTO is probably my favorite body style. Stacked headlights are just wicked.
Been considering selling my Camaro and buying one but boy I’m sure spoiled with modern performance and afraid I’d be disappointed with reality versus fond memories.
