Unfortunately for the right, the "get rid of public education entirely" crowd is so incredibly vocal, that a lot of people are left with the impression that this is a core tenet of their party. The result is real damage in the polls.

So why aren't the majority who are for public education more vocal in denouncing what you say is a minority position in their party?
