I don't see anyone here saying, mein Trump, right or wrong. Just recently, Trump basically OK'ed the teams that chose to link arms rather than put their hands on their hearts, as they have done since they were in the pee wee leagues. I don't think most people upset by the whole debacle agree with that. I don't. Close only counts in hand grenades and horseshoes. People accept that they aren't going to agree with their leader on everything. all the time.
Another flaw in your argument: the Alabama {(R) primary. Trump endorsed Sessions' establishment candidate, yet Trump's own people and supporters stumped for, and eventually defeated that establishment Pub. This literally just happened.
