i used 2000 grit. soaked it in a bucket of water with dish soap until it curled. used a soft rubber sanding block. wet the area of the car, used light strokes in the direction of the wind. kept the car and sandpaper soaking wet. wiped it down every few minutes to see how im doing. dried it, then used my PC with orange pad, orange polish; white pad, white polish; repeat until happy. then buffed it with the grey pad and purple polish. checked it with the light several times. i stayed away from the edges
