The build number on the carb points to it coming off a dodge in the mid 80s.
the reason i got to looking at the fuel system in the first place was that I took the car out on wed. and in the middle of driving fine, it started coughing and stumbling like the choke was closed again or a fuel filter was clogged. In fourth gear the engine would completly stall out while driving, if i drove in any other gear i had to keep my foot buried or it would die, but in either case it was still coughing the whole time, but the rpms never dropped either, the stumbling never caused it to die. It ended up dying enough times that the battery drained and i had to push the car home.
