We have been out there twice. If you stayed at The Lodge at Pebble Beach, that’s a pretty decent price.
Our first trip out there, when I made the reservation, they asked if it was a special occasion. I told them it was our 40th anniversary. I had booked a standard room at the lodge. When we arrived, they upgraded us to a room on the second floor looking out over 18 green. About 20 minutes after we got to the room, they delivered a bottle of champagne with a hand written note congratulating us on our anniversary. It is a truly special place
