Ex Navy nuke here also. Operations and Maintenance mainly. I am in maintenance now. The power plant I am interviewing at is actually a natural gas unit. But was converted from oil boilers to natural gas boilers last year.
So it appears there are no big negatives to the area???
I will be there early next Weds 10/8 to scope the area out. Interview is Thursday morning.
