Bought before the consult with my brilliance.
Two dull headlights r/r = $200.
two cracked taillights r/r = $300.
one master cylinder r/r = $100.
one mast cylinder r/r = warrantee
prolly 4 gallons of brake fluid
and to find out it's ABS pump leaking.
abs pump at chain part store = $400.
mechanic shop told them pump has to be reprogrammed and no rebuild kit.
My buddy says $30. kit and clear code.
knockers, madman, or others familiar know facts?

They are a 2 part setup, one side has the electronics and one side the fluid/pump. If fluid side is leaking it's a r&r no programming needed. It seperates easily from electronic side. If electronic unit is shot aka abs errors then the electronics side is replaced without disturbing the fluid side but will have to be programmed.
Fairly rare for them to leak internally, possibly a line is bad instead?
Addon. I wouldn't hesitate to get a used unit either especially from the southern states. Probably 50 at the man mall.
