Mississippi and North Carolina? I've worked NC. The place isn't exactly renowned for high paying jobs. Probably a casualty of the new increased minimum wage laws. Couple that along with inflation and I'm surprised they lasted as long as they did.
Buying new furniture isn't exactly a mandatory requirement of life so raising product prices would have only meant a quicker demise. The chair I'm sitting in right now is ~25 years old. Have a new one handy but why switch over before this one bites the dust? Not going to happen.
