Plumber just left my house. Replaced a shower valve, which is beyond my skill set. Good news.
The bad news: another shower is leaking from the pan. Older construction has plaster on lath walls because green board and hardy board wasn’t a thing yet. No crawl space to repair from underneath. They have to demo. $1,500 except it’s old timey, so add another grand. That’s just for the demo.
