Default M31 Andromeda Galaxy

Andromeda's field of view is ~3 degrees. The full moon or sun is about .5 degrees. Andromeda is HUGE.

This image is a merging of ~100 4 minute shots with lots of processing applied. There are no added colors though the colors are enhanced with saturation. If you look through a telescope or binoculars you won't see the color but remember, this is over 6.5 hours of exposure. I've posted some crappy photos of it before but this one is not horrible. It has some artifacts that are visible when zooming in but not unhappy with the result. I'll spare you additional details but answer questions if there are any.
