Toured the Medina yesterday and today we did a historical tour. The architecture is fascinating, however I find their extensive use of small tiles all over the place to be not my taste, nor my mom's. She became woozy after touring all of the buildings, as all of the massive tile work is never the same pattern and very challenging on the eyes. I was especially impressed with all of the detailed 3D carvings in the plaster of the buildings.

Top picture is the outside of our hotel. The garden ones are from the Ives Saint Laurant memorial garden. Last one is the detailed plaster.
