I need to put up some outdoor hogwire material. Its going to be on the top deck of the dock I put in at my parents' house.

4' by 50' welded galvanized PVC coated

It's going to be mounted by driving staples into 2X4 material. I found some galvanized 1 1/4" U-shaped big galvanized staples at Home Depot that will require hammering in each one individually.

If there is a stainless steel staple and power stapler available in this sort of durability rating it would make the job much easier, and Faster! Either electric or pneumatic.

Is the 1 1/4" galvanized staple overkill? Could a smaller one work?

The only stainless staples I could find are of the sort that you would use to staple a homemade "Lost Dog" sign onto a utility pole. Definitely not strong enough for installing a security fence.
