I disagree. Trump just had the huevos to say what many of us thought, but would not say....because political correctness. First, those suffering parents lied about Trump's position. He wants a temporary ban on Muslims until we can sort out the crazies a lot better. Second, he wants that ban to prevent people who think and act JUST LIKE the person that killed their son from entering the US. He wants to protect Americans from the type of killer their son faced.
So, either the Khan's are willfully ignorant, or they just hate Americans and want their crazier brethren to come and kill more Americans. Either way, I'm sorry for their loss, but they don't get a pass from me, and I'm glad the Donald didn't give them a pass, either.
I do wish he had not claimed that he sacrificed. He hasn't. Instead, he should have asked them how the Clintons have sacrificed. Slick Willy was a draft dodger, too, and I don't see Chelsea enlisting.
