That of course is only helpful if your wife can transition into a vehicle without extreme effort.
I've seen people using the new taller delivery type vans for handicap access now since theyre FWD the back is super low and ramp easily installed, just a thought.

Thanks! I have given those some thought. While they are very easy in terms of access for a wheelchair, the interior isn’t very car like. Getting one of those would be about the same cost as a nicely appointed Odyssey.
The rear mounted hitch carriers leave the chair exposed to weather and possible damage.
