Probably the same guy who goes into the hospital for pneumonia, gets an x-ray, the doctor confirms the pneumonia but also delivers the bad news that the x-ray revealed a tumor. To which the guy replies, "I just came in for pneumonia!".

If you don't know anything about cars and you find a good mechanic to take care of your car, why not trust that he knows what he's talking about and let him do what he's recommending?
