back when i had my C5, there was a guy who would show up at our monthly shop nights (we got to use the dealer's lifts for 2 hours), and he'd spend the whole time documenting and photographing all the little nuts and bolts and stray grease marks on new C5s.
i just changed my oil and blew the bugs out of the radiator.
it's just a car, go drive it and enjoy it.
