Mixed drinks are for fags. Rum and Coke, bourdon and ginger. Totally gay. Cocktails, on the other hand are not. Cocktails should have at least three ingredients. Bloodys (I cheated with the mix but it’s damn good), Manhattans, White Russian, etc.
For the best spirits, only neat will do. Maybe the tiniest splash of water. No ice.  
Also, ice may count as a cocktail ingredient, depending on the drink, e.g., bone dry, Black Russian, 5 ingredient marg. |
Preferred drink = Gin (Hendricks), stirred, dry (wave vermouth over it), w muddled cucumber
Bloody Mary = Zing Zang, pickle juice, worchester (sp?), horse radish, Pete’s red sauce... no vegetables
