Wife and I married 16 years now, she had a '99 Escort....got hit in the back in traffic 2X.....body shop first time..... second time I pulled it out enough, Driving a Miata...some kid hit her in the rear without looking and took off into her back at a traffic light.....all 3 texting, and had insurance.....
Then near 5.5 years ago, she rear ended in the Escort at 45 mph...ER for 6.5 hours....insurance paid near zero for the car....I had put a new engine in it not 2 years before that....so the crooked insurance company kept the car and the junkyard made out selling that engine for a LOT....we got shit 2 grand for the car.....Illegal owner, driver unsure about....
year following, her son gets hit at speed in the left front fender truck totalled....
a year later he gets hit head on, woman swerving into her drive, right in front of him.....truck totalled.....
Feb last year, jacked up pickup backs over top of my '72 vette in the bank parking lot.....thankfully they had insurance....
and just about ten daze ago, her son in law driving a Ford 250 work van....gets rear ended and pushed forward into a hitch in front...slight damage but bumpers dinged.....guy in back took off, hit and run....
ALL of these are illegals except the last one we dunno for sure, but we can BET on that.....oh, except my vette, they were citizens....
this don't include the deer here in '98 that took out the headlights on the vette.....or the Verizon truck that backed his hitch into the left front bumper on the vette.....or the guy who deliberately hit me in a traffic crap no heavy damage.....just some glass in the front fender, easy fix....
NONE of the above has been our fault, either.....
