"All men are created equal", sure... then shortly after birth, equality is replaced by rapidly-increasing disparity in physical condition, intelligence, drive, willpower, etc.
People are not all equal; people do not all have equal worth to society; pretending otherwise is one of the pinnacles of feel-good philosophical folly.
