Comcrap has expensive service, but their wires just under the power company off the poles seem to be protected, and I made damn sure in MY case...the outer shield metal is grounded but GOOD around my house in several spots.....obviously including the main input point.....

BTW I have a heavy starter motor gauge wire from my metal roof on the room addition to a ground stake in the back yard......

Attv now is internet only you could keep xfinity internet only and get a different tv service if you like.
