The angle that makes the most sense to me is that something really is rotten in Denmark. They either have some hard evidence or there is a high likelihood that this "security inquiry" is going to free some ugly skeletons. If the FBI found something significant, and it comes out
after the election, it's a s**t storm of unprecedented proportion. There's no way to say the FBI didn't withhold information to ensure Hilliary wins; election rigging by another name. At that point, it's basically impossible to paint Hilliary as anything but corrupt to the core. Her cronies bought her the highest seat in the land and Trump looks like a patriot who foretold the outcome. The FBI already looks like the law enforcement arm of the DNC. Their credibility credit is stretched too thin to be playing fast and loose with this investigation.
