Sunday my wife spied a mole that had changed on my son. Monday it was removed and this morning they called with the results. Melanoma.

So the dermatologist squeezed him for an appointment and it doesn't look great but it's possible this was caught in time. Next step is surgery to remove the tumor then (I'm not 100% on this part) analysis of it and th3 surrounding tissue maybe?

I just boarded my last flight and will hopefully know more soon. He has Autism so the surgery won't be easy and if we have to beyond that, it's going to be very tough.
