Early 60's, folks bought their last house out on Box113 rfd#3.....mailbox on post like all the others.....moving from a burb with walking mail delivery, large brown/leather? shoulder bag......
So no biggie, some ten? years later PO changed the addy to a 5 digit # and actually used the real street name the folks did whatEVER.....
SO when time for sis and I to sell the house, we went to the problem of the septic tank was backing up, so to get a permit for cleaning/digging/etc for some stupid reason, the addy of the house was not known by the county courthouse kept telling them it was there and their records were screwed up.....well, in fact the records WERE screwed up, PO never told the county of the change, I had to tell them of the old addy, and there the lid/tank/access locations were, still on file 30 years later....
know watt's super funny....that was the first time in 30 years the tank had been pumped.....just Mom/Dad in the house ....so go figger....
