My mom used to make a pound cake that was absolutely to die for. I have never had one like it. It was always moist and very very heavy. She died without me getting the recipe. I asked my dad for it several years later. He said he couldn't find it and gave me his wife's recipe.
Never tried it but will give this one a shot Doug.
