What an awesome day!
So my little buddy and I get to the super chevy show, park, and start walking towards the entrance. We end up walking with this guy talking about the event. We were joking about how I was a cheap azz and parked the vette in free parking. I said, speaking of cheap, I have some $5 off coupons you can have if you want them. He said no thanks, I have VIP tickets and since you were so nice and offered me the $5 off tickets, how would you guys like VIP tickets? I said sure, how much? He said free. I was a little skeptical, but we got in the tower (box seats) facing down the track. It was awesome. We had our own restroom, nice comfy seats, ect.
So after we get in to box and check it out for a few minutes, we decided to walk around. We asked the official down at the track if we could come take some pics at the end of the track before everything started. He said sure, come on down. After we took the pics, he asked us for our names, called someone on the radio and said we'd be over to get the passes. He said walk to the tech station and tell them I sent you and to give you crew bands. He said that will get us as close to the cars as possible....SWEET! And boy were we close!! It turned out to be such a great day.
My buddy's 16yr old nephew recently came to live with him (reasons I'd rather not say) and has really no friends yet. I wanted to get him out of the house for the weekend and since he's a car nut (import, but that's ok) I figured why not take him to the Super Chevy Show.....you know....to convert him over to domestics
Anyways, the pics and video's aren't the greatest, but here they are.
This car had a supercharger, twin turbos and nitrous....lol He said he has no idea what it would do in the 1/4 mile.
I'd give one of my testicles for this car.
I put the camera in bust mode and thought these's pics turned out great.

I love this truck. It's a 2011 model. They said it was supercharged with 550hp.
I have to plug my car in here with the free parking.
Here's the video's. I sacrificed my ears to get them. The funny car's and jet cars were so loud, that I could feel my keys rattling in my pockets...and I think my heart stopped a few times when the jet cars broke the sound barrier.
