We're in a time in Earths' history where for the last 10,000 years the climate has been *mild and thus habitable* and this has created a population explosion and for only the last 100 years, a science and technological boom ... all happening on less than 4% of the worlds surface as arable and habitable ....

It has been said that without the destruction of Alexandria (the worlds library in ancient Egypt) 2,000 years ago ... it is possible we would have been to the moon by the time of Christopher Columbus ...
