What a Saturday I had, the electric went out about 8:00 yesterday morning because of the heavy snow we got and it stayed off for the last 24 hours. They said that having the leaves still on the trees is what caused the branches to break taking out the power lines. It didn't help that the temp yesterday was 28 degrees and last night (Hell night) got down to 22 degrees..We did ok , reverting back to the old days of cooking on a camp stove ( Coleman) and setting around trying to keep warm with heavy heavy clothes on.. Thank God the house didn't get down below 45 degrees so no frozen pipes..This does not make me look forward to the rest of the winter..  ...WW. |
