This sensor reads temperature of the main heat exchanger, flame-to-water, shutting off the boiler if it exceeds a certain number. There is no such sensor in the Tasseron catalog- similar sensors return a degree C number.
The manual tells you to test for continuity- it reads 0.3 ohms. Similar Tasseron sensors have resistance values in the 10k ohm range, greater readings with lower temperature.
So, no heat or hot water until I get this fixed. Call to the manufacturer on Monday.

Well at least you have your tried and true (that's not my heating system) as back-up.
