I feel your pain, I'm in my 6th week of recovery from hip replacement surgery.

Same thing, 9 - 10 pain and bone on bone for 9 months as I had a sciatica at the same time, same side and tried PT that didn't work of course.

Anyway, good luck! I'm almost walking without a hitch, have some stiffness in my lower back from favoring the bad hip, but have been pain free for the past 5 weeks now.

Had 2 Oxy's post surgery, first 2 days, Tylenol arthritis for about a week and nothing for pain since.
